JudenSince when is bigotry acceptable? Why does America suddenly seem to be walking backwards to the “good old days” when treating Jews, African-Americans, and anyone who wasn’t like you as inferior was okay? Are we really returning to the time when racism was all the fashion? Do Jews need to develop their own horrible racial epithet before someone will acknowledge anti-semitism?

In Japan, you don’t really come across many people who own pets - at least I haven’t. It’s probably due to the fact that it’s difficult to own pets in general. Many apartments do not permit them and their busy schedule doesn’t allow to take care of them. But maybe the real reason has more to do with the psyche of the people and how they view having pets? In either case, having my first dog has changed my perspective on it. I now understand why dogs are man’s best friend!
