Their Big Fat Indian Wedding

We’re a bit off our publishing schedule because our Laura is getting married this weekend! Of course, this means we’re all rather busy lately — Laura most of all. But one of the best parts about Laura’s wedding, besides her being happy and all that, is that Asuka, Laura, and I will actually all be in the same room at the same time!
Laura and I live in Washington, DC, but Asuka is down in Miami. I haven’t actually seen Asuka since the first time I met her about a year ago! We have an amazing weekend of festivities coming and I’m incredibly excited. I’m sure you’ll hear lots about it over the next few weeks.
Expect Laura to return to her writing duties in a couple more weeks. Asuka and I are letting her take a break for all that wedding and honeymooning nonsense! In the meantime, Asuka and I will do our best to make up for her absence (slacker!) and we have our first guest writer who will be posting soon! I hope you’ll make Emily feel welcome. She really embodies the wabi sabi lifestyle that we’re trying to promote here. She’s fabulous, fearless, and just takes on life — it may not be perfect — but she’s living it!
